What is the cryotherapy process?

The Kaasen System is a handheld cryotherapy device that causes cryo-stimulation. The machine cools the targeted treatment area down to below 4 degrees Celsius in seconds. Quick and safe treatments take only minutes, depending on the size of the area. There are no limits to how many areas can be treated or the size of the area.

The Kaasen is a dry, pressurized vapor therapy that uses liquid carbon dioxide or CO2 tanks. Applied topically, the Kaasen device stimulates an optimal local response from the body to enhance the recovery of damaged tissues. Unlike nitrogen cryotherapy equipment, the Kaasen delivers cold vapor under pressure at the point of skin contact. This provides a therapeutic massage function in addition to the cooling function. The pressure of the spray is variable – from a very gentle 13 mph up to a firm 76 mph.

Vagus Nerve Stimulation

What is the Vagus nerve? The vagus nerve, also known as the vagal nerves, are the main nerves of your parasympathetic nervous system. These vagal nerves play an important role in involuntary sensory and motor (movement) functions including your digestion, heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, immune system responses, mood, skin/muscle sensations, speech and taste.

Vagus nerve stimulation helps “switch” your body from a stressed-out state where your sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system is activated, to a calmer state by activating your parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system. Outside of relaxation, other benefits of stimulating the vagus nerve are; minimizing headache pain, reducing inflammation in the body, balancing emotions, reducing symptoms of mental illness, and boosting the immune system.

At Angie Rose Health Coaching we believe vagus nerve stimulation is the key to reducing pain and inflammation in the body. That’s why with every pain treatment we stimulate the vagus nerve and the area of the body where you are experiencing pain in order to give your body the best chance of less inflammation and a quicker recovery.

What our clients are saying...

I can't believe how fast cryotherapy was able to reduce my pain. My back feels better than it has in years!

Cryotherapy has greatly reduced the pain and inflammation I deal with in my pelvic area due to severe endometriosis.

As a competitive dancer a joint strain can take me out for weeks. I got a cryo pain treatment on my knees the day before a big competition and my knees felt so good the whole competition day.
